Vancouver Airport Fuel Delivery

With a budget of $350 Million, construction included extensive use of directional drilling for the 13KM pipeline, which is ten metres below the surface to YVR.

The Marine Terminal design incorporates state-of-the-art mooring and offloading technologies and accommodates both small barges and large overseas vessels.

The Fuel Receiving Facility is located adjacent to the Marine Terminal, which includes six steel storage tanks with a total capacity of eighty million litres. A 500-metre pipeline transfers offloaded aviation fuel from the marine terminal to the tanks. In. addition, two new tanks were constructed at the existing tank farm at YVR.
